Desde 1997, a Associação Cultural Rock’n’Cave tem recolhido fanzines de todo o mundo sobre os mais diversos temas e com as mais bizarras estéticas, criando a primeira fanzinoteca portuguesa e a segunda da Europa.Com o objetivo de partilhar publicamente este acervo, a Fanzinoteca Rock’n’Cave organizou a sua primeira Exposição de Fanzines na Elevadora, em Paredes de Coura, entre os dias 18 de julho e 31 de agosto. Nesta exposição foi possível ver e consultar fanzines que fazem parte desta Fanzinoteca mas também fanzines novos, candidatos ao Concurso de Fanzines que será promovido em paralelo, com o objetivo de apoiar a produção de novas edições.A exposição Zines da Cave teve dois artistas em destaque: Teresa Camara Pestana e CHESTER.
Since 1997, the Cultural Association Rock'n'Cave has collected fanzines from all over the world on the most diverse themes and with the most bizarre aesthetics, creating the first Portuguese fanzinoteca and the second in Europe.With the purpose of sharing this collection, the Fanzinoteca Rock'n'Cave organized its first Fanzines Exhibition at Elevadora, in Paredes de Coura, between July 18th and August 31st. In this exhibition it was be possible to see and consult fanzines that are part of this Fanzinoteca but also new fanzines, candidates to the Fanzine Competition that will be promoted in parallel, with the objective of supporting the production of new editions.The Zines da Cave exhibition featured two artists: Teresa Camara Pestana and CHESTER.
