JohnfjuniorStudied graphic design at the school of applied arts in Alicante and is “Diploma Program” by THE SCHOOL OF THE MUSEUM OF FINE ARTS. Boston, Massachusetts, where he specializes in drawing and painting. He has exhibited his work in institutional and private galleries. Between 2000 and 2019 he developed an objectual work directly related to the concept of expanded painting. After the exhibition ”La isla Misteriosa” in the clandestine room “la peluquería” Alicante,Spain Juan Fuster reinvents himself as johnfjunior and returns to the immateriality of drawing, he plays with fiction as a metaphor creating in January 2023 his first exhibition like Johnfjunior in the disappeared “Liquid Gold studios” in the heart of London. Using drawing as a medium to create fictions that draw from a popular cultural framework and present contemporary philosophical conflicts through an acid and irreverent look with post punk influences that could already be guessed in his previous work. His work presents a mysterious atmosphere full of strange energies of a sinister beauty. Con estudios en Diseño Gráfico-Industrial e Ilustración, ha realizado numerosos cursos y talleres y ahora hace dos años que compagina su trabajo con lo que hace para el Instituto de Cultura Juan Gil-Albert donde desarrolla su vocación de diseñador y aprende mucho de la experiencia de trabajar en equipo y de compañeros que pertenecen a campos de conocimiento distintos al suyo. Trabaja sobretodo en su taller y le encanta la idea de hacerlo sin proyecto. También suele hacer cosas con otros artistas; todo lo que pueda enriquecer y traicionar su manera de hacer le interesa.
